The Women's National Basketball Association All-Star Game, an annual exhibition basketball game featuring the best players from the Western and Eastern Conferences, is held every year. This game is televised annually in the United States. It is watched by millions each year. This is the most watched sporting event in the world, and it is a must see for all basketball lovers.
Sylvia Fowles
Sylvia Fowles has been named honorary selection to the WNBA All Star Game. She is currently finishing her final season with the league. Her averages are 14.9 points and 9.2 rebounds. She also has 1.2 steals and blocks. Her team, Minnesota Lynx are currently 8-15, 2.5 games out of playoffs.
Fowles, an ex-LSU star, scored a free dunk in the second quarter. Fowles was in a position to press Team Stewart’s ball-handler for an error and then took the ball and slammed into it. Team Wilson's Fowles finished with seven points, nine rebounds, and she was done.
Sue Bird
Sue Bird, a Chicago Bulls' guard, has been elected co-captain on the WNBA All-Star Team. Breanna Stewart (also a Chicago Bulls guard) has been named co-captain of the WNBA All-Star team. The game will take place at Wintrust Arena, Chicago on Sunday, July 10. The game will be broadcast on ABC.

Sue Bird was selected for the eighth All-Star Game and Sylvia Fowles, the 13th All-Star Game. During the first half of the game, Fowles got the crowd going with her breakaway dunk. Sue Bird and Fowles received a standing ovation after the game.
Arike Olubowale
Arike Ogunbowale has been selected to her first WNBA All-Star roster. She is a two-time NCAA winner. She was the league's top scorer last season, and she is currently eighth in points per match for the Dallas Wings. She is expected to play an important role in Team USA's preparations at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
Chicago will host WNBA All-Star Game from July 9-10. The Saturday night event will include a skills contest and a three point contest. Ogunbowale hopes that he will be a part of the next All-Star game. In the past, Team USA won the WNBA's inaugural All-Star game.
Kelsey Plum
Kelsey Plum of the Aces scored 30 points against Team Stewart during her debut WNBA All Star Game. Despite her small stature, Plum was named the WNBA All Star Game's MVP. Her MVP trophy, however, was dwarfed by the NBA's Kobe Bryant's All-Star MVP trophy. Cathy Engelbert (WNBA commissioner) brought some humor and presented Plum a new trophy.
Plum stated that she wanted to win the MVP award. She made 12 field goals in the game and took 18 shots, which was an All-Star record. At the moment she averages 19.9 per game. She will be representing the United States in 3x3 basketball at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Arike Olubowale's MVP Award
Arike Ogunbowale was the MVP of the WNBA all-star game. The guard from Dallas played college basketball at Notre Dame. She was the fifth overall pick in the WNBA draft. Vanessa Bryant, Vanessa Bryant's mother, was a fan. The award is extra special because her family voted for it.
While the 2021 WNBA all-star game saw many changes, the game remains an all star event. Ogunbowale was one of the lone WNBA player to win MVP honors, beating Team USA in the matchup by 93-85. Ogunbowale will also be able to repeat the feat in the next two years as she was selected as a reserve player for the 2022 WNBA ALL-STAR Game. The game will be held in Chicago, and will be broadcast on ABC.
