Claudia Gadelha
Michelle Waterson & Claudia Gadelha agreed to a main show matchup at UFC 233. The fight will take place on June 10 in New York City. Waterson will be Waterson’s 3rd UFC fight. She is also the first Black woman to headline the UFC. Hill and Waterson met at InvictaFC on May 12.
The ringside judges split their opinion on which of Hill or Waterson is the better striker. Hill is currently considered the better striker, with a 2 inch advantage in reach. Waterson is more likely than Hill to stand and trade in her pocket. However, she hasn’t fought in five year. Hill will likely win if Hill wins. Waterson's record, however, is impressive. Waterson has won nine of her ten fights by submission and averages 1.68 takesdowns per round.

Jessica Penne
For fans of mixed martial arts, a rematch between Michelle Waterson, a former UFC women’s champ and Jessica Penne is highly anticipated. Penne called Waterson’s win against her last month a "fluke", while the Canadian veteran said she would fight her again. Waterson believes that Waterson won the fight against Penne last month. She would like to prove that it was not.
Earlier this year, Penne fought in an MMA event and lost to Jessica Andrade via TKO in the second round. In the same year, she fought Danielle Taylor at featherweight and lost unanimously. Invicta FC strawweight champion Emily Ducote, Penne will face her next bout.
Araya Sage Gomez
Michelle Waterson will fight Araya Sage Gomez in her next fight, if you don't know. The two met at the Albuquerque Hooters. Gomez was visiting Albuquerque from El Paso with his parents to see the Cowboys' game. Gomez sat with his parents under a huge poster of Waterson wearing a Hooters uniform. Gomez explained to his mother, "She was going be my future wife." They laughed as she accepted their order. Gomez's parents were reluctant to approach her but they never spoke to the child.
