Fallon Fox is an American mixed martial artist who is openly gay. She is the first transgender mixed martial artist in the sport. Her transgender identity was revealed when she declared her gender transition to female in 2011. Fallon is an outspoken advocate of gender equality and a strong supporter of the LGBTQ community.

Manuel Fallon Fox, 26, of Los Angeles, California, was a high school student when he decided to pursue a career in boxing. A girl approached him about sparring. He was already enrolled at Jeet Kune Do. Manuel decided to go and meet her at a boxing gym in a nearby suburb. Manuel and the girl were told to spar by an overzealous trainer. Manuel was also punished by him.

Manuel has fought only three professional bouts, his first two were amateur bouts. His career was filled with injuries. He has missed numerous fights because of back-toback injuries as well as shifting priorities in the bureaucracy. His promise to return to boxing is still unfulfilled.

Her relationship is with a gay man

Fallon Fox, a MMA fighter has been the focus of a lot of attention recently because of her relationship to a gay man. Born a biological male, Fox struggled with gender identity from an early age. In her teens, Fox was certain she was gay. She didn't know that transgender people existed at the time.


In the end, she started to research transgender topics, which eventually helped her transition. She discovered about transsexuals. She eventually lost hair. She had several surgeries to complete her transformation from a male to a female.

Gender reassignment surgery performed on her

Fallon Fox was born to a man, but struggled with his gender identity as a teenager. In her teenage years, Fallon Fox thought she was homosexual, but later realized she was transgender. As a result, she decided to undergo gender reassignment surgery. She flew to Thailand for the operation and had a series if surgeries.

Fallon Fox was a teenager when she first heard the term "transgender". She began questioning her identity at a young age and started to steal her mother’s clothes to dress up when no one was watching. Although her family did not support her decision to have gender-reassignment surgery, she was able to serve four years in the Navy, becoming an operations specialist, second class. She went on to attend technical college, and then enrolled at University of Toledo.

Her MMA career

Fallon Fox announced that she was retiring from mixed martial arts after a loss to Amanda Nunes UFC 215 in February 2018. She also said that she will no longer compete in the sport. While her MMA journey was short, it is important to note that she became a prominent advocate in support of transgender athletes. Born as a boy, she was raised to believe that she was a gay man. She was unaware of the existence of transgender people.
