Diana Taurasi

After she sustained an injury on Thursday, Diana Taurasi was forced to put her WNBA career on hold. She suffered a right quad strain while playing just 11 minutes against the Sun. She had to be out for the rest of her game because of the injury. She was also expelled for the rest of this season.


Brian Agler

The Dallas Wings parted ways with head coach Bryan Agler on Wednesday. Agler was in Dallas two seasons ago, but the COVID-19 Pandemic cut him short. Agler finished the season finishing with an 8-14 record. He did not make the playoffs.

Pokey chatman

Pokey Chatman's coaching experience includes many years with the Chicago Sky as well as Indiana Fever. He also coached the Chicago Sky to the WNBA Finals in 2014. He was an assistant coach at the Seattle Storm. Katie Smith is another coach with WNBA coaching experience. She was the New York Liberty's head coach from 2018-19. She is currently the assistant coach for Minnesota Lynx. Chatman was a coach for the Indiana Fever during the NBA before joining Dallas Wings.

Katie Smith is one the most loved female athletes in sport. She is a two time WNBA champion and a three times Olympian. She is also the first player to win both ABL and WNBA championships. Smith, Tina Thompson, and Smith will be inducted together into the WNBA Hall of Fame. Smith is one of most prolific scorers in league history.

Deanna Nolan

Deanna Nolan is the Dallas Wings' point guard. The 25-year-old is originally from Flint, Mich. She played for the Detroit Shock in the WNBA for nine seasons and won three WNBA championships. She was also named to five All-Star teams.
