LPGA-USGA Girls Golf Program is a junior golf program for girls aged seven to 17. It is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to build confidence and perseverance. LPGA Tour is a series for professional female golfers that features weekly tournaments.

LPGA-USGA Girls Golf Program offers young girls the opportunity to learn and improve their golf skills while playing in competitions. The only national program for developing golf skills specifically for young girls, it aims to encourage and promote self-esteem and life skills as well as the enjoyment of the game.

LPGA-USGA Girls Golf is designed to give girls the chance to compete in golfing tournaments and make connections with other girls her age. Juniors can also receive practice balls for free, regardless of financial situation. It also gives out free coupons to access participating Rocky Mountain PGA Golf Facilities to youth organizations and schools.

Program builds confidence and perseverance

LPGA Foundation & USGA Girls Golf Program was created in 1989. The program aims to teach young girls life skills through golf. The program emphasizes interpersonal skills, goal-setting and conflict resolution.


The program is open to girls between the ages of six and seventeen. LPGA Professional Wendy Kern instructs the participants in golf and offers nutrition and fitness classes. Every Saturday, the program runs from 9:00am to 12:00pm. It's free to girls and they will provide snacks as well as golf clubs. However, if they have their own clubs, they can bring them to the sessions.

First Tee of Three Rivers Park District can offer financial assistance for youth in dire need. The program provides scholarships to aspiring female golfers and organizes free events for girls. If you or your child is interested in golf, consider applying.

Girls Golf is a national initiative led by the LPGA Foundation and USGA and is a non-profit 501(C)(3) junior golf program for girls. The program focuses on developing golf skills and instilling confidence in young girls. Participants are assigned to teams of four to six children and play for 60-75 minutes each outing in a variety team-based format. Each team has a parent volunteer team leader, who serves the role of coach. The YMCA trains these parents before the season.
