She is a two-time Olympic gold medalist and a World Cup champion. Stevens played college soccer at the University of Washington and then went pro with the Philadelphia Charge. Although the league folded after one season, Stevens remained active and has played in the top divisions of European soccer and the Women's Professional Soccer League (WPS).
