Brooke Henderson wins LOTTE Championship

Brooke Henderson of LPGA is poised for her sixth career title. The American has been searching for a win since January, but has been in great form this week, shooting a six-under-par total of 69. In the first half, she averaged 25 pars per round. Through two rounds, she has not made a bogey and has a total of 68 putts in her five last rounds.

Brooke Henderson, who is currently leading the leaderboard at two rounds of the LOTTE Championship, was able to overcome some difficult conditions. She's two strokes ahead of Mo Martin, who shot a seven-under-par 70, and Shanshan Feng, who shot a seven-under par 73. Pernilla Lindberg, the only other player to break 70, is in a tie for 25th.

Annika Sorenstam trails Madelene Sagstrom

Annika Sorenstam is back on top of the LPGA Tour leaderboard after shooting a 5-under 65 on Thursday. Madelene, who was one of her captain’s picks last season, teamed up to make the LPGA Tour team. They shot a 5-under 65 for a share of the lead after the first round. Sorenstam, who is currently playing her second LPGA Tour tournament of the year, and third overall for 2008, will be taking part in this event. Sorenstam & Sagstrom will continue to play alternate shots on Friday.

Sorenstam was among four players who shot a 69 Thursday. Sagstrom is two behind. Both players are still in the hunt for a win, but they are still within reach of a trophy. Sorenstam was not able to win the LPGA Tour in 2008 because of her injuries. She has, however, played at several events, including the U.S. Senior Women's Open in San Francisco and the Michelob Ultra Open in Kingsmill.

Brooke Henderson won the LPGA's second straight event

Brooke Henderson from Canada won her second consecutive LPGA Canada tournament. Last year, the 18-yearold had a remarkable season. At eighteen, she won Toronto's Women's PGA Championship and was invited to the 2016 Olympics. In Rio she placed seventh in the women's round of golf. She holds the record in LPGA Tour wins for Canadians. She will win the tenth LPGA Event in April 2021. Since her debut in 2015 when she was just 15, Henderson has won an LPGA title every year.

With her win in Canada, Brooke Henderson now has three LPGA Tour titles. After winning the LOTTE Championship last year, she won the Meijer Classic and the McKayson New Zealand Open in June. Her victory broke the Canadian record for LPGA Tour victories with two strokes. Lexi Thompson, Michelle Wie and Lexi Thompson were also beaten by her win. The Bobbie Rosenfeld Award is the LPGA's highest honor.

Brooke Henderson won the last two LPGA events

The second LPGA event of her career came in Los Angeles, where Brooke Henderson dominated the field with a bogey-free 64 in the final round. After two rounds she was only four shots behind the leader. By the end of round three she was at 12 under, one stroke in front of the leader. Lindsey Weaver Wright had just started her career on this tour. Henderson's win came in a playoff, however.

The Canadian also won the LPGA tournament at Seaview. She had also won the 2016 Women's PGA Championship. Although she started the afternoon round four strokes ahead of Korda, she quickly recovered with birdies on the first and second holes. Nos. 3 through 9 were her bogeys. 3, 9 and 10, but she then had a great round on the back nine. She putts as high as eight feet on the three final holes.
