Leslie participated in the WNBA

Sabrina Ionescu became the first WNBA player ever to achieve a triple-double of 30-points
Ionescu was the first player in WNBA history with 30 points and a triple-double last season. She was also the first WNBA player ever to record three consecutive double-doubles. She also rebuilt her strength to train for the 2022 season. She had an ankle injection before training camp started and felt ready for play. She was no longer a rookie, and she had yet to get to know her teammates or her new home.

Liberty leads with assists per game - Kelsey Plum
Following an incredible season last year Kelsey Plum is set to lead the Liberty's assists per-game this season. The 5-foot-8 guard averaged just 5.4 assists per games to lead the team. Her impressive stat line is not surprising, as she leads the league with 19.6 points per game. She is actually tied for the league's lead in assists with Alyssa Tom. Plum was the first player to appear in the WNBA All-Star Game. She earned MVP honors, and she set a new record with 12 threes.
Parker's injury record
DeVante Parker was the 14th overall draft pick by the Miami Dolphins in his rookie season. After injuring his right foot while practicing, he was unable to play for the Dolphins the first half. Parker was able to undergo surgery on the foot but missed seven games. His injury history became a significant issue at the beginning of Parker's NFL career. Parker pulled the scar tissue from his left foot after surgery and missed three preseason matches, one of which was when he was hurt.
WNBA standings
It's never too far away to start looking at WNBA standings. The playoffs begin on Aug. 17 and feature six teams. The Chicago Sky Aces (and the Las Vegas Aces) have already secured their first two seeds. There are still the Sun, Mystics and Dream who could be in the running for the fourth & fifth seeds. A number of other teams are also in the mix, including New York Liberty (Dallas Wings), Los Angeles Sparks (Sparks), and Dallas Wings (New York).
Ionescu's triple-double
Ionescu's triple double was a remarkable feat for the WNBA. She scored 31 points, grabbed 13 rebound and handed out 10 assists in the 116 -98 victory against the Las Vegas Aces. Although her triple double is impressive by itself, it's even more impressive that she didn’t pass the ball. Ionescu is the first player in the WNBA to record a triple double, which is a major milestone for the league.
